About the Electrical Engineering Dual Study Program

In this dual study program you'll build a strong foundation in electrical engineering, electronics, and programming while combining classroom learning with hands-on experience. From day one, you'll contribute to real projects and gain practical insight into modern drive systems and digital control technologies.

As your studies progress, you can specialize in areas such as automation technology and apply your knowledge directly to the development and production of variable frequency drives (VFDs). Throughout the program, you'll take on increasing responsibility, work independently on meaningful projects, and continue developing both professionally and personally.

Depending on your program and availability, you may also have the opportunity to complete practical assignments at one of our international locations.

What We're Looking For

  • For the HAW program: A specialized university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or Abitur with strong grades in core subjects
  • For the TU Hamburg program: Abitur (general university entrance qualification)
  • Strong interest in mathematics, electrical engineering, and technology
  • Analytical thinking and logical problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good English language skills
