Our advisory concept

Primarily, the NORD ECO service reveals the savings potential of your application to optimise the energy consumption for reduced CO₂ emissions, as well as cost savings. Our advisory concept is based on long-term experience in manufacturing electric motors, and the cooperation with customers from more than 100 industries. This knowledge gained is continuously integrated into the further development of our drives so that we can provide you with the suitable application optimisation products.

Climate-friendly logistics with high-efficiency drive systems

By 2050, DHL wants to reduce its logistics-related emissions to zero. In its logistics centre at the Cologne Bonn Airport, drive technology from NORD brings the company significantly closer to their goal. 800 LogiDrive drive systems and 268 stand-alone motors are used in curved conveyors, conveyor belts and lifters. Our video shows how our comprehensive drive solution implements energy efficiency, variant reduction and easy maintenance.

The topic of energy efficiency is of highest priority to DHL. The building in Cologne/Bonn is CO2 neutral. For the conveyor belt drives, energy efficiency as well as short maintenance intervals have also been the main requirement. NORD was able to deliver this to us and therefore we are very satisfied with the NORD drives.
