NORD at SPS 2025: Smart drive solutions for any production environment

At SPS – Smart Production Solutions from 25 to 27 November 2025 in Nuremberg (Hall 3A, Stand 431), NORD will present intelligent drive systems for automated production. The focus will be on multi-variable drive electronics, NXD tupH® surface protection and digital services for efficiency and maintenance.

One topic at SPS: NORD offers drive electronics for any system architecture. The product families NORDAC PRO , NORDAC ON , NORDAC FLEX and NORDAC LINK provide frequency inverters for installation in the control cabinet, for motor mounting or for installation close to the motor. They support all common Ethernet protocols and, thanks to their integrated functions such as the POSICON positioning mode or an on-board PLC, also perform control tasks.

NXD tupH®: Surface protection for harsh environments

Another highlight will be the NXD tupH® surface protection that protects aluminium housings against aggressive media – ideally suited for use in the food or pharmaceutical industries. At the trade fair stand, wash-down models will be used to demonstrate how components with smooth surfaces treated with NXD tupH® also facilitate cleaning.

Data-based for more efficiency and availability

In addition, NORD will present its digital services throughout the drive systems’ lifecycle: As a new service for the planning phase, NORD will present simulation models for virtual commissioning of its components. The digital twins can be tested in a simulated system and errors can be corrected in an early planning stage. During operation, the NORD ECO service reveals savings potential of drive systems and forms the basis for their optimisation. The IIoT solution NORD DRIVE MONITOR continuously provides operating values for further processing, indicating anomalies or wear at an early stage.
