We want your application experience to be as clear and straightforward as possible. While the hiring process may vary slightly depending on the role or department, the steps below provide a general overview of what you can expect.

Step 1

Submit Your Application

Apply online through our careers portal. Our HR team and the hiring department will review your application, and we'll typically respond within five business days.

Step 2

Initial Video Interview

Meet with a recruiter and your future hiring manager for a 30-minute video interview. This is an opportunity to get to know each other, ask questions, and learn more about the role while exploring whether we're a good fit.

Step 3

In-Person Interview

During this 60-minute interview, you'll meet with HR, your hiring manager, and members of the team to discuss your experience, technical knowledge, and the role in greater detail. Afterward, we'll be happy to show you around our facility.

Step 4

Leadership Interview

During your final interview, you'll meet with divisional leadership and senior management. Together, we'll discuss your experience, how your strengths align with the team, and what it would be like to build your career at NORD.

Step 5

Offer and Welcome to NORD

Once the works council has given its approval, we'll prepare your employment offer and send you the necessary documents. Once everything is signed, we'll be excited to welcome you to the NORD team.

Our interviews are designed to help us get to know each other. We want to learn about your experience, your skills, and what you're looking for in your next opportunity. Just as importantly, we want you to learn about NORD and determine whether we're the right fit for you.

The first interview typically includes one HR representative and one or two members of the hiring department, such as the hiring manager or department head.

The final interview is usually conducted with divisional leadership and senior management or the head of Human Resources.

The initial video interview lasts approximately 30 minutes and focuses on getting to know one another and discussing the role.

Generally, no. Applications are accepted as long as the position is posted. Please note that apprenticeships and dual study programs have fixed annual start dates.
